Gibraltar, Atlantic Ocean.

Hi dear friends, thank you for following my journey. Here is this week’s update.

Getting ready to depart Gib.

Life Onboard:

A relatively quiet week for little happens here in Gib, well that was till the wind turned mid week. Before then though I was very busy editing down the 1,500 pages I currently have written about Pinta’s voyages.

Monday evening we had a good run ashore meeting up with some crew members of the now none stop ‘plastic-fantastic’ motor yachts which moor across from us.

Thursday, the wind picked up through the early hours, windward vessels here in the marina started to crash into the piers, a sleepless night spent keeping Pinta safe.

For the next few days it was all go here in Gib, water volley ball competitions, Miss Gibraltar and then a farewell drink with Graham (Nomad life) as we watched the second lions game and what a cracking game it was too.

The Boat:

The mainsail was refitted.

Fair winds, calm seas.

David.
